One of the reasons why I love watching this show is to see the latest styles of fashion. This week cocktail dresses were all the rage at J’s party. J wore a gold dress which you can see below. While Vanessa showed us a purple dress that was a simple halter style. Other fashion trends from the night including big bold necklaces that were worn by Blair’s crew. I have to get one of those necklaces since they were super hot. I spotted some from forever 21.

Megan Fox Wears Tight Gold Beaded Gown. Megan Fox as most guys would say foxy wears a tight gold beaded gown to the 2009 Golden Globe awards. The fresh eyed beauty looked glamorous from head to toe and I love her beaded gown which was paired perfectly with gold swirl earings and gold eyeshadow to brighten the eyes. She looked flawless with her perfectly slicked back bun and the pop of color on her arm was a simple tourquise bracelet.
Taylor Swift Summer Dress Line at Walmart. Taylor Swift has teamed up with l.e.i to bring us some very fun summer dresses which will debut at Wal-Mart sometime next month. We all know that walmart has low prices so we can expect the dresses to be budget friendly and since Taylor is known of her flirty dress styles we can expect the dresses to be super cute. It sounds like a great combo and I can’t wait to see what they look like in person!

Jessica Simpson Puts On A Little Weight and Still Wears Highwaisted Jeans. I’m glad Jessica Simpson is happy about the weight that she had gained. Its always wonderful when you see a women happy about her curves but she really should have skipped the highwaisted jeans and leopard belt. I would have liked to see a curvy women flant her curves in a more flattering outfit, somewhat like Tyra she’s a curvy women that shows what she has and looks fashionable at the same time. Maybe its the fact that Jessica doesn’t quite know how to dress for her body type quite yet.. she needs a lot of work figuring this out and a stylist can help her alot quicker.
Worst Dressed of the Week Penelope Cruz at the 2009 SAG Awards. Look closely at this dress, closer, even closest. Yup you can see pretty clearly that this dress is why too big for the celebrity. She knew it and so does everyone else (see the pic of her pulling her dress up so it doesn’t fall). The top of the dress is way to big in the chest area and just doesn’t look right on Ms. Cruz. The bottom is way to flare out to the point where we can’t see anything but a big black mess. The only area of the gown that does seem to fit is the middle and that’s never a good look for anybody.
Best Dressed of the Week Angelina Jolie Wears Max Azria Backwards. We’re not sure why Angelina Jolie wore her dress backwards to the 2009 SAG Awards, we’re just glad she did. For any women who’s bold enough to pull such a unique fashion move and wear a designers dress the wrong way we have to award their courage with making them the best dressed of the week. By switching up the dress Angelina shows off one of her best assests her back which was filled with tribal tatoos.
