Maybelline Mineral Powder Foundation Reveiw

Filed under: Makeup, Mineral Makeup — Tags: — admin @ 12:06 pm

Maybelline Mineral Powder Foundation Reveiw. Last time around I reviewed Maybelline Mineral Powder Foundation in Loose Powder form. Except, I’d never tried it for myself, nor any other mineral makeup product to date. On a recent drugstore haul I picked up Maybelline Mineral Powder Liquid Foundation to try. It was a whimsical decision and I really had no clue what to expect. Plus, how do they come up with “mineral powder liquid” anyway?

Either way, I adore this foundation! Since many of us are on a tight budget anymore with high gas prices - and for me, self-employment - we are looking for drugstore steals to temporarily replace some of our normal high-end makeup buys. This is a perfect drugstore foundation pick, especially if you want to experiment with mineral makeup. Maybelline Mineral Powder Liquid Foundation goes on even and smooth with medium coverage - I use a dampened sponge to apply for a dewy look. You may want to set this foundation with its loose powder companion, but for the record, the formula lasted for hours on my combination/oily skin without looking shiny.

RAW Minerals Loose Powder Mineral Makeup

RAW Minerals Loose Powder Mineral Makeup.

RAW Minerals Loose Powder Mineral Makeup. Well into the mineral makeup craze, I am just now really playing around with the stuff. After purchasing Maybelline Mineral Powder liquid foundation and being generally satisfied with the results, I wanted to try mineral makeup in a powder form as most other fanatics are using it. Rummaging through a pile of makeup I’ve been meaning to try, I found a sample of RAW Minerals loose powder mineral makeup in just my shade. I was pretty eager to test it out.

RAW Minerals loose powder makeup is now my favorite, favorite foundation! I make sure to prep my face with a good moisturizer and makeup base so that the formula goes on smooth and even, and use a kabuki brush to apply in swirling motions around my face. RAW Minerals is so lightweight, my skin can breathe in summer heat, yet the coverage is awesome, and I really think it makes me glow! I am such a fanatic about this stuff. I don’t think I’ll go back to regular, non-mineral makeup in a long, long time.

Lucky for you, you can try RAW Minerals free for 30 days. If and when you do, come back and let me know what you think!

So, if you’re a mineral makeup newbie, better grab this Bare Minerals Starter Kit in Sephora for only $60 (originally a $181 Value). Start using MMU by getting the right shade of base color, brushes, primer and way to do the tap-and-buff application technique.
